Today is the first day in the workshop, and the prompt was all about capturing what you are grateful for. This posed a challenge for me today, because it is a rainy rainy day, which means zero light! So photo's oh what I'm truely grateful for, my girls, was a no go, since I wouldn't be able to get any focus at all with this little light and moving bodies!
I did take this picture representing Lily though:
Those are the turkey hands we made to decorate before thanksgiving! I'm very grateful to have a daughter who truly loves to do crafts with me! (and you can see how dark it is today. I think my shutter speed was way low, like 30 or something...with my appeture wipe open, and the ISO pushed all the way to the max at 1600!)
Then my inspiration hit me...the flowers Sean brought home for me yesterday! Perfect!
(I'm also grateful to have found a little light in a window on this very dreary day!)
